Welcome to our new blog and although it is a little premature, it is December and we would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas.

Since it is a family run yard and very sociable, lots of cappuccinos, hot chocolates and homemade cakes can be enjoyed in the new summer-house where BBQ be held as well as lunches and parties enjoyed

The summer house itself is situated near the 20×60 m arena and it lends itself to view other riders train or receive a lesson when the weather is not nice enough to sit outside. Okke is also planning to hold clinics here next year.

Dutch Dressage has been very busy since it was established 6 years ago.

Okke and his team have the most excellent attention to detail and nothing is left to chance. When moving to the new yard 2 years ago, a lot of thought went into planning every part of it, this resulted in us having horses that live in what we consider to be one of the very best livery yards in Suffolk, with some of the very best facilities.

We have 15 horses living with us and now that the long summer evenings are well and truly behind us, riding in the evenings is helped by the big floodlights alongside the arena. The arena is usable in all weather conditions as well, so no matter how cold or wet it gets, there always an opportunity to exercise the horses and progress to the next level at dressage if you feel inspired.

Each month we are hoping to let you know of anything new going on and keep you up to date with yard activities.
